CALL FOR VENDORS

We are looking for independent, edgy, eco-friendly & unconventional exhibitors in wedding related fields such as stationery, fashion & accessories, florists, event coordinators, caterers, stylists and more.

Indie Wed is a unique wedding show and market, the first of its kind in the Midwest. Our goal is to present alternatives to the typical wedding show, focusing on vendors with a twist. We hope to appeal to not only those who want a full blown non-traditional event, but also to the more conservative couple who may just want to add a little bit of personality to their special day.

Vendor benefits will include:

• Promotion through our print and online ad campaigns
• Additional opportunities such as swag bags, fashion shows and more.
• Complimentary tickets for clients (valued up to $400)
• The chance to network with similar vendors as well as potential clients!

NOTE: The 2010 show welcomed over 1100 attendees for our first event! We had extensive press coverage including numerous bridal blogs, Time Out Chicago, Chicago Social Brides and Brides magazine.

Schedule

• May 30th, 2010 = Application is open
• July 30th = Application deadline (must have completed application, photos, and application fee by this date)
• August 13th = Notification of acceptance
• August 27th = Payment due in full or your space will be given away
• September 17th = Deadline to cancel with full refund less application fee
• December 3rd = Vendor packets go out to accepted vendors
• January 29th, 2011 = Indie Wed - woo hoo!
