Vote for Your Favorite Team – Inspired Creations Contest

If you followed our posts a month or so ago where we introduced you to our Inspired Creations Contest teams, then you would know what sort of talented folks we were working with.

Well the contest is complete, all of the concepts came to life at the most recent Indie Wed event, and now it is time to place your vote.  Each of the entries have been featured in full at the Elizabeth Anne Designs blog.  Please visit each link to see the entry in full.  To vote for your favorite, leave a comment on the EAD blog with the respective post.

Team #1
French Tea Party Dessert Table

Team #2
Belles & Gents Bar

Team #3
The Ultimate Photo Booth

Team #4
Vintage Hot Air Balloon Inspired

Team #5
Whimsical Salvage Chic Ceremony

Team #6
Cozy Winter Tabletop

When looking at all the entries in full, keep in mind that all the teams were assigned their locations and didn’t really have a say in where they could set up.  For some this meant dealing with things like vintage neon signs in the corner, or less than natural light.  Also, what you don’t see is that all the displays were created amongst 100+ other vendors’ booths with about over a thousand people walking around throughout the day.  Yet all the photos feel very calm, relaxed, and natural.  I think all the teams did a great job so show some love and vote for your favorite.

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 6

Welcome to the last installment of our ‘Meet the Teams’ series.  Out of all the wonderful proposals, we selected six teams of wedding pros to recreate their concepts live at the Winter Indie Wed.

The last team I want to share with you includes some total wedding rock stars, just like all the other teams!

Courtney Callahan PaperFleurSimply Jessie Photography & SQN Events have partnered up to bring us a concept they are calling the “Belles & Gents Bar”.  Imagine a relaxed, old-fashioned styled, co-ed bar where guests can chat it up while sipping on some refreshing libations.  A rustic wood bar will hold a bevy of sweets &  handcrafted beers just for starters.  What a fun idea for a wedding reception.  I could see this at a variety of locations from a backyard fete to a gallery soiree.

For a sneak peek at their gallery of inspirations, they created a pinterest page filled with all sorts of eye-candy.  Take a look.

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 5

In another installment of our ‘meet the teams’ posts, this is our fifth superstar team who will be competing in our live Inspired Creations Contest at the Winter Indie Wed.

This team consists of an amazing roundup of talent.

Naturally Yours Events
Mignonette Bridal
Luscious Layers

For their inspiration, they looked to a French countryside tea party and will be creating a sweets table to fit the theme.  Yum!  (I am hoping this involves French Macarons – if so, please save me one, ladies)  Actually I think they are going for a more rustic, textured vibe which I think will be just lovely.  Here are some of their great inspiration images for reference.
Doesn’t this look lovely?  I can’t wait to see what they do in person!

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 4

I hope you have been getting excited about all the teams we’ve introduced you to for the first ever LIVE Inspired Creations Contest.  These are going to be a nice addition to the 100+ amazing vendors who will be showing at the event.

Our fourth team consists of a super group of the following wedding vendors:  Petal Play DesignImage Icon PhotographyPemberley Events11 Eureka Boutique.  They have come up with a lovely little concept titled “Love, Up In The Air”.  Now get those thoughts of George Clooney out of your head because this is a different “Up In The Air”.

Their table setting & chuppah are inspired by a photo they found of a couple in a hot air balloon.  They are also working on a few other surprises which I wont give away just yet.  You will have to come to the show to see for yourself!  For now I’ll leave you with the inspiration board they submitted.

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 3

It is time for another introduction.  Up this time is a proposal for a ceremony arch.  This entry was selected since it wasn’t the usual table setting but instead will inspire some ideas to dress up your own ceremony spot.  (Remember that earlier post on creating a focal point?)

This twosome is comprised of Kio Kreations & Hazleton Photography.  They have submitted a concept titled “A Whimsical Salvage Chic Ceremony” and I know everyone will be blown away when the see it come to life at the winter Indie Wed event.  Their entry included a bunch of sketches but I don’t want to give away too much.  Instead here are a few images they sent in as inspiration for their concept.

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 2

So yesterday we introduced you to our first selected team for the Indie Wed Inspired Creations Contest.

Today’s team is the duo of Grapevine Floral & John Dart Photography.  The concept of their proposal is for the ultimate vintage, cozy, winter wedding.  Think flannel shirts, vintage hankies, knitted mittens, candlelight, and snowflakes.  The inspiration board they sent over is just stunning and I can’t wait to see how they transform this into a live vignette.

Meet the Teams – Inspired Creations Contest part 1

During the last week, we (Ami from Elizabeth Anne Designs, Cyd from The Sweetest Occasion, & I, Kelly from Indie Wed) went through the batch of proposals we received for our first live Inspired Creations Contest to be held at the upcoming winter Indie Wed.  There were a ton of amazing entires but we had to narrow it down to a mere six.  We were inspired by all the creativity and decided to choose the most diverse group we could in terms of styles as well as ideas they were presenting.

I want to take some time over the next week or so to introduce you to the six teams with a very small teaser as to what they will be presenting live at Indie Wed.

First up is the team of:

Maypole Studios,
Love Lulu Mae,
Busy Beaver Buttons
3 Line 9 Productions.
Their concept was for a photo booth area for your wedding that combines the hypothetical couple’s love of vintage as well as music.  The photo booth will be interactive and involve a cool giveaway for guests.  Their inspiration?  Think, Boardwalk Empire!  How cool is that.  Here is a little inspiration board they sent along to give us a little idea.
